GREG KOLPAKCHI

BIO

Greg Kolpakchi is a Ukrainian born British actor working in all areas of the industry mostly in TV and Film.

Coming from a musical family, performing has always been part Greg's life. He has been singing and playing musical instruments from a young age.

His first professional acting experience came when he was 17, being cast as one of the Durmstrang boys in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire directed by Mike Newell. Although not having a speaking part, he was featured throughout, filming for 7 month in total. The highlight, dancing two grand set-piece scenes choreographed by Wayene McGregor. 

After filming he applied for drama school and he was accepted on the 3 year BA at the prestigious Drama Centre London.

Graduating in 2009 he was cast in Macbeth with Declan Donnellan's Cheek by Jowl, performing at London's Barbican and going on an 18 month world tour.

Film work followed and Greg gained valuable experience on blockbusters X-Men First Class and World War Z as well as many independent films, Ashes In The Snow being his favourite.

TV roles also opened up on, Vera, Strike Back, Peaky Blinders and on comedy Lee and Dean.

He continued his love for theatre in between filming, performing at The Royal Court, Roundhouse and Rose Theatres and most notably working with directors Simon Evans, Rob Ashford and Vicky Featherstone.

He has recently been part of some of the best British television, in The Walk In, Litvinenko and A Spy Among Friends all on ITV and the final season of hit series Happy Valley on BBC1. 

As well as the Apple TV film Tetris.
